“What can we do to really make a difference in the lives of veterans?” That was the question that we asked ourselves numerous times. We wanted to be able to show all of our veterans that we appreciate their service and act upon that in a tangible way if a need existed. It was also important to us to involve Americans of like mind who are willing to give their time and talents to help us serve our veterans. Our driving force is showing that we care and improving the quality of life for those that were willing to put their life on the line for our nation. Above all we consider our veterans a National Treasure and believe they should be treated as such. Those are the founding principles that led us to form Americans Assisting Veterans, Inc.

Americans Assisting Veterans, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving veterans in North Carolina. We are a 100% volunteer group providing a helping hand to all veterans. We believe that as grateful citizens it is our duty to honor and remember their service and sacrifice. We can thank them and express our gratitude by performing acts of service for veterans who need assistance to improve their quality of life.
